IN 1959...
Richard Mauran was in search of a name for his first burger restaurant. A dealership on Danforth Avenue (also known as Harvey's), was closing and the sign was up for sale.
Mauran bought and installed the dealership logo outside the first Harvey's burger restaurant in Richmond Hill, Ontario, and we continue to live to tell the tale.

Since 2021, we've been a proud partner of Tree Canada, with a goal to plant 250,000 trees across the country by 2026 to compensate for an estimated total of 50,000 tonnes of CO2 – enough to cover all drive-through emissions.
And our hand-spun milkshakes are made with, you guessed it, 100% Canadian dairy.
